Does health insurance cover lactation consulting services?

In most cases YES! Most insurance companies do cover visits with a lactation consultant at no out of pocket cost. I am in network with Aetna, and Independence Blue Cross. I have also partnered with Wildflower Health to provide in network coverage with Cigna. If you do not see your insurance listed, please email hello@arpidlactation.com to verify insurance coverage. If I do not have coverage with your insurer, you may book a self pay visit. For self pay visits, I can provide a superbill for my services that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
